Create an identity for a museum that doesn’t exist yet. These opportunities from scratch are the ones I love, but at the same time a challenge because of the shift from divergent ideas into convergent decision making and simplifying the brand concept.
These days a lot of space centers are called, well: Space Centers. But if you dive deeper in the understanding of space and matter we find duality. Nothing can’t exist without each other. Yin/Yang, Black/ White, Dark/Light. And all in between. So the entire - yep - Universe Has also Your Back. Not only mine:) This conclusion started the brand development.
As said, from divergence into convergence is a tough cookie. The process of working through ideas could lead to inner chaos. But by trusting this process the trust grows that something great will appear. Just suddenly from outer space.
Reconnecting to the philosophy behind the brand concept: The Universe Has Your Back and the universal elements relating to that I saw the opportunity to integrate geometry in the design. For the start of this museum I chose to create a series of events and with that the design of multiple posters.
